Hi! 

I'm Jen, the lady behind Magical World of Stories!

I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher with 15 years classroom experience. 

When my twin boys started school I wanted to try something new so that I could be there for pick up and drop off times. I decided to combine some of my favourite elements of teaching, add a sprinkle of silliness and 'Magical World of Stories' was born!

I have always loved books and I am very passionate about getting children of all ages to want to pick up a book. I think its incredible the way books are able to transport you to.... anywhere you want to go.  The earlier children are introduced to books and read to, the earlier this magic opens up to them. (Along with a whole host of developmental skills of course!)

I take a huge amounts of pride in my story telling and really enjoy making the stories fun for the children. There is a lot of enthusiasm in my story delivery and you are guaranteed to hear lots of different voices and sound effects during my classes.

Each class is created from scratch, by me, and I have lots of fun choosing stories, thinking up weekly themes, writing songs and inventing dances.

I absolutely love being outdoors and the benefits of outdoor time for both adults and children are massive which is why I wanted to include this as part of my classes. 

My classes are guaranteed to get you laughing, get you moving and will quite often send you home with a song in your head and a new favourite story in your heart!
